Real Madrid star Arda Güler has this week secured for himself an altogether prestigious individual accolade.

This comes after confirmation arrived that the young Turk has beaten out the competition to the La Liga Goal of the Season award.

Youngster Arda is fresh off a productive campaign on the domestic front, giving rise to four goals and nine assists in Spain’s top-flight.

One of the 21-year-old’s four goals came back in March, during a meeting with Elche in Spain’s capital.

Picking the ball up deep inside his own half, Arda spotted Matías Dituro off his line, before lofting nothing short of a staggering left-footed strike beyond the clutches of Elche’s no.1.

And as alluded to above, such exploits have this week seen the midfielder rewarded.

As confirmed in an announcement across La Liga’s social media platforms on Thursday, Arda’s strike has been voted the division’s Goal of the Season for 2025/26.
