Official: Stade Rennais signs Mahdi Camara

A few hours ago, we reported an agreement between Rennes and Brest for Mahdi Camara. Things moved quickly, and the player has now officially signed with Stade Rennais.

Rennes managed to beat out OGC Nice for Mahdi Camara. Following the agreement reached on Wednesday evening, events accelerated. Rennes officially announced the arrival of the Gambian international just a few hours ago.

"After lighting up western Brittany, Mahdi Camara is now heading to the region's capital. The 27-year-old midfielder has signed a four-year deal with Stade Rennais F.C.," read the statement from Brest.
