Official | Strasbourg centre-forward Emanuel Emegha earns first Netherlands call-up

Strasbourg centre-forward Emanuel Emegha (22) has been called up by Netherlands national team manager Ronald Koeman for the first time, as announced by the Dutch FA. The future Chelsea striker has earned a senior call-up for his country due to Wout Weghorst’s fitness. The AFC Ajax striker is not certain to feature for the Netherlands’ decisive games for the November international break.

The Netherlands are in the driving seat to qualify for the 2026 World Cup. They will qualify at the earliest opportunity should they win Friday’s away tie against Poland.
