Their nominations are a testament to a phenomenal campaign that saw Barça reclaim the La Liga title, win the Copa del Rey, and secure the Spanish Supercopa, signalling the club’s return to dominance under Flick.

A season to remember for the three players

The 2024/25 season was a superstar coronation for Lamine Yamal. The 18-year-old established himself as arguably the most devastating attacker in world football, becoming the clear Player of the Season.

Yamal finished the campaign with a staggering 18 goals and 25 assists, becoming the undisputed cornerstone of the team while finishing second in the Ballon d’Or. He remains one of the strongest candidates to win the The Best award.

While Yamal provided the youthful magic, Raphinha delivered relentless, world-class production. The 2024/25 season was the Brazilian’s true breakout campaign.

Thriving in Hansi Flick’s system, Raphinha became a lethal goal-scoring machine, amassing an incredible 34 goals and 22 assists in 57 matches, according to his official club bio.

The heart of the treble-winning machine was Pedri. Finally enjoying an injury-free run, the 22-year-old was the “master passer” who dictated the tempo for Flick’s side.

His creativity and positional awareness were on full display all season as he linked the entire team together. His performances solidified his status as one of the most elite midfielders in the game.
