Official: Villarreal announce deal for Inter Milan star | OneFootball

La Liga outfit Villarreal have on Saturday have announced a fresh addition to the club’s first-team ranks.

The player to have put pen to paper on terms with Marcelino’s side? Tajon Buchanan.

Versatile wide-man Buchanan has for his part endured an altogether difficult campaign to date.

Owing to major competition for places in Simone Inzaghi’s high-flying Inter Milan squad, the Canadian international was afforded just six Serie A appearances, all from the bench.

Such struggles had given rise to inevitable recent speculation that Buchanan could therefore be on the move this winter.

And, as alluded to above, on Saturday, confirmation of as much has been forthcoming.

As per a statement across the website and social media platforms of La Liga outfit Villarreal, Buchanan has penned loan terms with the club through the summer:

‘Villarreal CF and FC Internazionale Milano have reached an agreement for the loan of Tajon Buchanan, who will play as a Yellow for the rest of the 2024/25 season. The loan agreement includes a purchase option.’
