Official: Werder defender to leave as a free agent | OneFootball

After nine years at the Weserstadion, Milos Veljkovic is leaving Werder Bremen at the end of the season.

Serbian champions Crvena Zvezda have confirmed that the 29-year-old will be joining them in the summer as a free agent.

"Red Star is a strong European club with clear goals, and I believe I can achieve all my professional and personal ambitions here. I've had an extremely enjoyable and successful time in Bremen, where I was well received and had the opportunity to prove my qualities.

“Now it is time to start a new chapter in my career. My goal is to give my best and help Red Star represent Serbian football on the European stage in the best possible way.”

The 29-year-old Serbian centre-back has made a total of 242 appearances for Werder.
