Sheffield United midfielder Oli Arblaster has reacted to his comeback from injury via social media

Oli Arblaster has delivered a short but sweet message after making his Sheffield United return.

After suffering an awful start to the 2025/26 campaign, the Blades have bounced back to enjoy a strong run of form in recent times.

11 defeats from their first 14 matches set a new record for the Championship, with United struggling under the management of both Chris Wilder and Ruben Selles.

Arblaster emerged as one of Sheffield United’s standout operators during the opening stages of last season, regularly featuring in Chris Wilder’s midfield.

The 21-year-old scored against Preston North End on the opening day of the season, before striking once more away at Norwich.

Unfortunately, he would go on to suffer an ACL injury in the Steel City derby during late November, ruling him out of action for over 12 months.

Poignantly, Arblaster returned to the Blades’ starting 11 in their most recent contest, which came away at Norwich City, the scene of his last goal in a United shirt.

After completing 59 minutes of the clash, the young midfielder delivered a short message on social media, summing up his feelings about this emotional milestone.

“The best feeling in the world,” wrote the United academy product via his Instagram story on a post put up by Sheffield United, highlighting just how long he had been out of action.

Arblaster has made 56 appearances for the Blades and enjoyed a successful loan spell with Port Vale during the 2023/24 campaign.
