Crystal Palace will have to win a two-legged knockout phase play-off to reach the last-16 of the Europa Conference League after drawing 2-2 with KuPS on Thursday.

Manager Olivier Glasner made 11 changes to the team that lost 3-0 to Manchester City last weekend in anticipation of the game against Leeds United this weekend.

He says Leeds will know their starting line-up for the Premier League clash.

Glasner said (per BBC Sport): “With the demotion, we got the play-offs in August – with this result, we get the play-offs in February.

“The result is not what we wanted. It’s a game we could easily have won.

“The only thing I don’t like is that Leeds now know our starting line-up because there are only eleven players who didn’t start – and nobody will start both games.”

Despite featuring a mixture of fringe players and youngsters, all seemed to be going well for the Eagles when Christantus Uche scored inside the opening five minutes.

Piotr Parzyszek levelled the scores from 12 yards in the 50th minute before Ibrahim Cisse quickly added another to put the visitors in a commanding position.

The Finnish champions suffered a blow in the 73rd minute when Clinton Antwi received a straight red card for a foul on Will Hughes.

Palace made it 2-2 through Justin Devenny’s header, but KuPS held out to seal a draw at Selhurst Park.

The Eagles face a difficult test against Leeds, who are unbeaten in their last three league games.
