Olympico without Diani as Lyon name strong squad for women’s Coupe de France

Lyon travel to Marseille for an Olympico in the women’s Coupe de France round of 16 on Saturday at 16:00, but Diani is not in the squad, according to Le Progres.

As expected, Jonatan Giraldez has resisted major rotation, mirroring his approach in the previous round’s derby.

Key omissions include Tarciane and Ingrid Engen. Engen was not with the group at the start of the final session before the trip south. Inès Benyahia and Lily Yohannes are also absent.

With a full, injury-free squad, the coach faced a tight 16-player selection. Diani trained normally on Friday and was in contention, yet she is ultimately left out for the match at the Stade Francis-Turcan in Martigues.

The tie will be broadcast live and exclusively on OL Play.
