FC Barcelona will square off against Valencia in the quarterfinals of the Copa del Rey on Thursday night away at Mestalla.
Having hammered Los Che 7-1 in La Liga less than a couple of weeks ago, the Blaugrana will go into the match tomorrow as overwhelming favourites, even though they will be without key midfielder Gavi while some other stars are likely to be rested.
As far as Valencia are concerned, though, they are set to be without two key players for the clash, with Hugo Duro and Dimitri Foulquier both ruled out.
Indeed, Los Che head coach Carlos Corberan spoke to the press and confirmed that both Foulquier and Duro did not train with the rest of the squad today and will not be available for the cup clash.

“Foulquier underwent tests due to discomfort and will not be available tomorrow. As for the rest of the players, Hugo Duro is in a similar situation. He has not trained with the group, the discomfort persists, and he will not be part of the squad,” he explained.
The absences of Foulquier and Hugo Duro are significant for Valencia, as both are regular starters, and Corberan will have to decide who will fill their positions in the lineup.
New signing Max Aarons is likely to take Foulquier’s place in defence, while the centre-forward position will be contested between Umar Sadiq and Rafa Mir.
There is some good news, however, for Valencia as they will be able to count on Javi Guerra, Diego Lopez, and Enzo Barrenechea, who have all recovered from their respective injuries, as well as new signing Ivan Jaime.
