Referee Ortiz Arias’s match report omitted the late flashpoints from the Levante v Valencia derby, including Eray Cömert’s controversial celebration, the on-pitch melee and a bottle that struck the Swiss as he left the pitch. According to Superdeporte, none of those incidents appeared in the document.
The referee was already in the dressing room when the chaos unfolded, so he did not add any end-of-game notes. A LaLiga judge will now file a report, after which the RFEF Competition Committee could act of its own accord.
Assistant coach Vicente Iborra de la Fuente was sent off in minute 80 for leaving the bench in an agitated manner, loudly protesting a decision with raised arms.
After his red card, Iborra continued to watch from the mouth of the tunnel despite being instructed via the match delegate to return to the dressing room. The report notes he ignored those instructions and remained in that area.
The report did, however, log disciplinary entries that may affect Levante. Kervin Fabián Arriaga Villanueva was dismissed in minute 90+4 for a second booking, then sarcastically applauded the referee before team-mates intervened.
