Osasuna ‘to sell only if €40m clause met’ for Victor Munoz after Sunderland bid

El Pais reports that Sunderland had a €25m January bid for Osasuna winger Victor Munoz rejected, the Real Madrid academy graduate declined the move, and that any departure would require his €40m release clause to be met, with Real Madrid also holding a 50% resale clause from last summer’s deal.

The 22-year-old’s profile has grown after a first senior Spain call-up, and he marked his debut with a goal in Friday’s friendly win over Serbia.
