Over 90% of Rangers fans want Katic back | OneFootball

Rangers fans have overwhelmingly voted regarding the potential return of Nico Katic.

The Croat will be leaving FC Zürich this window after falling out of favour in Switzerland and has made it abundantly clear he wishes to rejoin Rangers at Ibrox.

And Rangers fans have overwhelmingly agreed with him with well over 90% of the responding voters endorsing the notion of Katic returning to Govan.

Ranges are thoroughly short of defenders at the moment with just three fit at present in Clinton Robin and Leon to give them their first names. Katic as somebody who knows Rangers very very well and loved his time at Ibrox would fit in like a glove and would provide the big strong physical presence at the back that Rangers desperately lack right now.

The Nigerian Balogun might fit that role perfectly, but his fitness is not reliable and of course he is not getting any younger.

Katic would be a free he’s a good age. He’s physically powerful and he is exactly what Rangers need and the fans want him back.

It all rests on whether the technical director and manager decide he is one that they wish to bring to Ibrox but let’s face it they probably won’t.
