Pachuca closes out Club World Cup campaign

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The FIFA Club World Cup 2025 continued as CF Pachuca fell 2-nil against Al-Hilal in Group H at GEODIS Park in Nashville, Tennessee, USA.
Pachuca had an early chance in the 3’, but the right-footed hit from Alexéi Domínguez outside the box was just wide of the left post.
Al-Hilal opened the scoring in the 22’ with a strike from Salem Al-Dawsari.
The Tuzos pushed in search of the equalizer, with Salomón Rondón making an attempt in the 55’ that was saved by Al-Hilal goalkeeper Yassine Bounou.
Iván Rodríguez attempted a header in the 84’, that was just off the mark.
The Saudi side doubled its lead in the 90’+5’ through Marcos Leonardo.
Pachuca concluded its FIFA Club World Cup 2025 campaign after playing its third and
final match of the Group Stage.
