Palhinha suffers Bayern Munich training knock amid Aston Villa interest | OneFootball

João Palhinha sustained a knock to his left shin during Bayern Munich training today after a clash with Kim Min-Jae. According to BuLi News, the issue initially appears minor.

The Portugal international went down in pain and received treatment. Kim approached immediately to apologise.

Despite notable swelling, Palhinha carried on and continued the session. He later cycled back to the team hotel with medical tape around the area.

On first look the injury does not seem serious, though it will bring slight concern for Bayern.

Palhinha has been considered a candidate for sale under Vincent Kompany, who is understood not to have him in his plans.

Several clubs have shown interest in the 31-year-old, with Aston Villa among those reportedly pursuing a deal.
