Palmeiras have bid farewell to midfielder and centre-back Isadora Amaral with a tribute at the Centro de Excelência do Futebol Feminino, as a move to Cruzeiro progresses.
According to Globo.com, Amaral visited Toca da Raposa 1 on Saturday, underwent medical tests, and should be announced this week.
The 26-year-old made 58 appearances for Palmeiras, scoring three goals and lifting six trophies. Her honours include the Supercopa do Brasil in 2026, the Copa do Brasil in 2025, the Campeonato Paulista in 2024 and 2025, and the Brasil Ladies Cup in 2025 and 2026.
Over two and a half years she forged a strong bond with supporters. On arriving at the club she shared a video telling her son, Miguel, that she had realised his dream of seeing her play for his favourite team.
At her farewell, Palmeiras displayed the trophies she won with the club and presented a plaque signed by president Leila Pereira. The club also thanked her for professionalism, dedication and commitment, and wished her success in the next chapter.
On social media, Amaral called it the most victorious and special spell of her life. She reflected on learning, challenges, titles, achievements and dreams realised, and expressed gratitude to staff, team-mates and the board.
