Palmeiras loanees Kaique and Naves have been named in the Portuguese league's 31st-round team of the week. Former Palmeiras midfielder Richard Ríos was also selected.
Goalkeeper Kaique impressed in Nacional's 2-0 away win at Tondela, with Nacional now 14th. Centre-back Naves scored in Alverca's 2-1 victory over Arouca, his side sit ninth. According to Nosso Palestra, both players are expected to attract offers from European clubs and could be sold in the coming months.
Italian clubs have made enquiries ahead of the next window, and the defender and his representatives view a move positively given the style of play and the chance to step into a more competitive league. He is not in Palmeiras' plans after his loan ends in July 2026.
The player does not wish to return to the club that brought him through, and wants to remain in European football. Alverca cannot sign him permanently, and Palmeiras are seeking a definitive sale.
Palmeiras would like to keep Kaique long term, yet he is unlikely to return. The goalkeeper is one of the standouts of the 2025/26 season in Portugal and is the league's leading penalty saver. He wants to remain in Europe, ideally at a higher-profile club.
He has recently drawn interest from leading Portuguese sides. Palmeiras will wait until the end of the season before deciding on another loan or a permanent transfer, depending on the proposals that arrive.
