Palmeiras graduate Marcus Meloni recalled to United Arab Emirates squad | OneFootball

According to Nosso Palestra, right-back Marcus Meloni has been called up again by the United Arab Emirates national team.

He has played in the country since 2019 and has been a regular presence in squads.

A Palmeiras academy graduate, he came through with Patrick de Paula, Gabriel Menino, Vitão and Lucas Esteves, winning state and national youth honours.

Since moving to Emirati football, he has collected eight trophies and enjoyed a sustained run with clubs there. He currently represents Al Jazira.

He said wearing the national shirt is always an honour and that each call-up feels special, given his journey from Brazil’s youth ranks to life in the Emirates. He added that he feels happy and motivated to represent the country again and give his best on the pitch.

This latest selection keeps him in the group and underscores his continued presence on the international stage.
