The 2026 Campeonato Paulista final will be staged entirely outside the city of São Paulo for the first time since 2016.

According to Nosso Palestra, Palmeiras face Novorizontino with both legs away from the capital, the opener at Arena Crefisa Barueri in Barueri and the decider in Novo Horizonte.

The previous final without a São Paulo leg featured Santos and Audax, with both matches played outside the municipality.

The shift underscores the growing clout of the interior in recent Paulista campaigns, with non-capital clubs gaining greater prominence.

The absence of the capital also brings symbolic and logistical effects, drawing supporters and economic activity to Barueri and Novo Horizonte.

Kick-off times are Wednesday 20:00 and Sunday 20:30, both Brasília time.
