Pape Gueye has said in an Instagram story that he will step back from Senegal duty while the current coaching staff remains in place.
The message arrived shortly after Senegal surrendered a 2-0 lead and were eliminated 2-3 after extra time by Belgium in the 2026 World Cup round of 32.
