Paqueta needs to be dropped after latest display | OneFootball

Nuno Espirito Santo must be seriously contemplating dropping Lucas Paqueta from his West Ham side.

The Brazil international was once again in dreadfully poor form during our 2-0 loss to Arsenal, which appears to be a running theme sadly for the clubs record signing.

The playmaker has been struggling to hit the heights for some time in east London, with the previous two campaigns overshadowed by the painful spot fixing allegations, which he was ultimately found innocent of.

Since then, it was hoped West Ham would finally see Paqueta arrive and perform at a consistent higher level, now the weight of the allegations had been lifted.

However, the display at the Emirates was the latest in which Paqueta simply hasn’t delievered, in fact it could be argued he was West Ham’s worst performer, although Niclas Fullkrug wasn’t far behind.

Nuno has shown how ruthless he can be, which leads many to question how much longer the patience with Paqueta will last.
