Paraguay star Orlando Gill was one of the stars of the show for the national team in their World Cup campaign and this has led to speculation about a move to Serie A.
Torino have been pursuing a move for him and the player was asked about Il Toro’s interest in him.
In a chat with the press, he made it clear that he is interested and everything depends on talks between the Italian side and San Lorenzo.
He said – via Di Marzio: “I’ll take a few days off and then we’ll see. Torino? Why not. It’s a big club, we’ll talk to understand what’s best for both parties. The club (San Lorenzo) will decide. They’ll analyze the proposal and what we all consider to be the best option will happen.”
This was rejected by San Lorenzo but Il Toro will now have to pay over €6m to sign the keeper, who had a controversial moment with Kylian Mbappe on Saturday. Now that Paraguay are out of the World Cup, a possible transfer can take shape.
