Fabio Paratici is targeting a move for Radu Dragusin as one of his first acts as Fiorentina sporting director, with the Romanian centre-back a long-standing personal target of the director who knows Tottenham’s operation inside out having served as their managing director of football.
According to La Nazione, via FirenzeViola, Paratici is drawing on his extensive network both domestically and internationally as he shapes Fiorentina’s summer recruitment, and his familiarity with Spurs gives the Viola a natural advantage in any approach for Dragusin, who was also linked with the club during the most recent January window.
Tottenham, however, value the Romanian at a minimum of €20 million, which remains a significant hurdle.

In midfield, Fiorentina’s interest in Fabio Miretti is also reported, with the Juventus midfielder returning from a loan spell at Genoa and contracted to the Bianconeri until 2028.
Paratici knows Miretti well from his time at Juventus, adding another personal dimension to the pursuit.
Further afield, Fiorentina have made informal enquiries about Wolfsburg midfielder Lovro Majer.
The Croatian is available following Wolfsburg’s relegation from the Bundesliga, but Napoli and Como are understood to be ahead in the race for the 28-year-old.
