Sacha Tavolieri has revealed that Gent forward Hyllarion Goore is attracting interest from both Paris FC and Bundesliga side Freiburg. It is the German side Freiburg who appear to have the more concrete interest in the young forward. However, if Freiburg want to sign Goore, Gent will require them to part with between €7 and €10m, with bonuses included in that overall fee.
The 20-year-old Ivorian striker Goore only joined Gent in 2025 from Armenian side Ararat. Goore joined midway through last season and made 15 appearances for Gent, failing to score. So far this season he has been used more regularly, playing alongside striker Wilfried Kanga at times. So far, in 23 games, Goore has scored five goals and provided three assists. With the departure of Omri Gandelman to Lecce this January, Goore is the second highest scorer in the league for Gent with four, just one behind Kanga.
However, Gent have already let the aforementioned Gandelman leave and Dante Vanzeir joined Cercle Brugge on loan. That is why they are likely to ask for a large fee to let Goore leave, as the club would then need to replace him before the end of the window.
