Paris Saint-Germain beat Lens 2-0 at Stade Bollaert-Delelis to seal a 14th Ligue 1 title with one game left.
In the 29th minute, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia finished calmly after Ousmane Dembélé had nicked the ball and slipped him through, punishing a Malang Sarr error.
Matvey Safonov kept the champions-elect in front with eight saves, including a superb stop from Wesley Said on the stroke of half time, as Lens piled on pressure.
After the restart, Allan Saint-Maximin and Florian Thauvin injected thrust for the hosts, with Abdallah Sima repeatedly threatening and striking the woodwork.
Thauvin thought he had levelled late on, but his deft finish was ruled offside after a corner routine was recycled.
Deep in the third minute of second half stoppage time, Ibrahim Mbaye smashed in off the bar from a Desire Doue cut-back to settle it.
Lens registered 25 attempts, 10 on target, underlined by an xG of 2.57. Paris Saint-Germain posted 10 attempts with three on target and an xG of 1.09, and had 62% possession.
Next, Lens travel to Lyon in Ligue 1. Paris Saint-Germain visit Paris FC next, before facing Arsenal in the UEFA Champions League final.
