Patrick and Tiquinho Soares score as Santos loanees reach Copa do Brasil last 16 | OneFootball

Santos loanees Patrick and Tiquinho Soares both found the net on Wednesday as Remo and Mirassol booked Copa do Brasil last 16 places.

According to Diario Do Peixe, both players are on loan from Santos this year.

Patrick scored Remo’s first goal in a 2-1 win over Bahia, sealing progression after a 3-1 victory in the first leg. It was his first for the club.

He has 16 appearances this season and has recently established himself in the starting XI in Brasileirão matches.

Tiquinho Soares netted Mirassol’s first in a 2-1 success against Red Bull Bragantino, after the first leg finished 1-1. It was his first for the club, in nine outings.

Patrick’s loan to Remo runs until the end of the year, which also marks the end of his Santos contract. Tiquinho is tied to Santos until the end of 2027, with his Mirassol loan due to finish at year end.
