Jack Harrison’s heartfelt farewell to Leeds United drew swift tributes from former teammates, with Patrick Bamford and Liam Cooper among the first to respond.

The 29-year-old winger has ended his eight-year spell after a permanent move to Major League Soccer side New England Revolution for an undisclosed fee. The player said in a post that he was grateful to supporters, accepted that recent loan spells were complicated, and stressed his enduring respect for Leeds while expressing pride at seeing the club back in the Premier League.

Harrison, who arrived under Marcelo Bielsa in 2018, posted his goodbye on Instagram around 24 hours after the transfer was confirmed. He is the sixth player to leave Leeds permanently this summer.

Within minutes, Bamford replied, “Good luck buddy, great memories”. Cooper added, “All the best bro”.
