Paulinho completed the full session as Palmeiras opened their interseason work on Thursday, while Vitor Roque advanced his recovery. According to Nosso Palestra, the squad trained at the Academia de Futebol after morning medical and physical checks.

The afternoon began with sprints, then short-passing drills and movement using poles. It finished with an 11 against 11 on a reduced pitch with limited touches per player, and lasted almost one hour.

The No 10 scored the 1-0 winner against Chapecoense on 31 May in the Campeonato Brasileiro. Since his arrival he has played 24 games and scored five goals for Palmeiras, including eight appearances and two goals in 2026.

Vitor Roque, who underwent surgery on his left ankle in early May, followed a pitch-based recovery plan alongside the club’s Núcleo de Saúde e Performance. He completed physical work and ball exercises.

Palmeiras return to training on Friday morning as preparations continue for the resumption of official competition. Their next fixture is against Coritiba on 23 July at 21:30 at Estádio Couto Pereira in Curitiba, in the 19th round of the Campeonato Brasileiro.

The reigning Paulista champions top the league on 41 points and remain in the last 16 of the CONMEBOL Libertadores and the Copa do Brasil, staying among the leading contenders for silverware this season.
