Pedro Milans made his Corinthians debut in a 1-0 win over Velo Clube, starting at the Estádio Benito Agnelo Castellano.

The Uruguayan had a low-key outing, seeing more of the ball before the break as Corinthians attacked down his flank. After a quieter second half, he made way for Matheuzinho. According to Meu Timao, he was unveiled at CT Dr. Joaquim Grava on Saturday.

While on the pitch, the right-back recorded two tackles, one interception, one blocked shot and two clearances, completed one cross and posted 78% passing accuracy.

Milans was a free agent at the start of the year after failing to agree a new deal with Peñarol, where he spent the past four seasons. In 2025 he played 42 matches and supplied two assists. He came through at Juventud de Las Piedras before moving to the traditional South American club.

He fits the profile Corinthians have prioritised, targeting free transfers or loans, and now competes with Matheuzinho, with only the youngster João Vitor Jacaré previously in reserve. Available to head coach Dorival Júnior, Milans is preparing for Wednesday’s Brasileirão opener against Bahia at Vila Belmiro, kick-off 20:00.
