Roma continue to be plagued by injuries.

While the attacking line is already dealing with numerous absences, Lorenzo Pellegrini risks being unavailable for the crucial match against Udinese scheduled for tonight at 8:45 PM.

As Il Romanista reports, Pellegrini has suffered an ankle injury and is now doubtful for the match. If the captain is unable to play, Gian Piero Gasperini will face a tactical dilemma.

He could choose to field an additional midfielder, focusing on Pisilli and El Ayanaoui alongside Cristante to strengthen the midfield, or he could opt for one of Massara’s young signings, such as Venturino or Robinio Vaz, to seek a more attacking solution.

Ahead of tonight’s match, Gasperini is already without Dybala, Ferguson, Dovbyk, and El Shaarawy, as well as Koné.

The goal is to have the Argentine back for the mid-February match against Napoli, while the Frenchman is aiming for the return match against Juventus on March 1st.
