Pep Guardiola says his players are full of energy for our Premier League clash with West Ham United.
City travel to the London Ground for our 20:00 (UK) on Saturday determined to get three points with the title race still alive.
We are seven points behind leaders Arsenal with a game in hand and the Gunners still to come to the Etihad Stadium next month.
After a frustrating 3-0 defeat in our Champions League Round of 16 first leg clash with Real Madrid in midweek, the players will be hurting.
But Guardiola says the squad will be ready for a tough encounter against the Hammers and are looking forward to the game with the opportunity to chase silverware after missing out last season.

“I talk a lot to them, we talked about West Ham,” he said during his pre-match news conference.
“The energy and there’s a little bit of disappointment and sadness, but there is energy for West Ham.
“We have been here fighting a lot of months. In December, it was over. Still we are there and there’s not a lot of games.
“It’s not in our hands but if there’s a chance we will be there.”
Erling Haaland will be available for the game against the Club he has scored the most goals for in a City shirt.
The Norwegian has an incredible 11 goals in just seven appearances against the Hammers, with six of them coming at the London Stadium.
That is more than any other goalscorer in the fixture, surpassing City great Sergio Aguero and West Ham’s World Cup winner Sir Geoff Hurst on 10.
While, Guardiola doesn’t believe that players have certain teams they score against, he’s hoping Haaland will be back on target.
“I’m not a big fan of these kinds of things,” he added. “In the same way with Omar [Marmoush] against Newcastle, special connection to score goals.
“I don’t believe these kinds of things. What happened in the past is the past.
“I don’t know why he scored more against West Ham than other ones.
“Of course he needs goals and the team needs it. We have to find him more.”
