Pepê is set to make his 400th professional appearance on Saturday when FC Porto face Torreense in the Supertaça, a match that could add to his honours.
According to O Jogo, the winger begins his sixth season at the club and is fourth in seniority, behind Diogo Costa, Cláudio Ramos and Zaidu.
Buoyed by pre-season goals against Aston Villa and Birmingham that delivered two wins, he is in contention to start. He lifted the Supertaça in 2022, while Porto also won in 2024, when he was not named in the matchday squad.
This milestone includes 240 games for Porto, giving him the third-most appearances by a Brazilian for the club behind Helton and Aloísio, plus 144 for Grémio, 13 for Foz do Iguaçu and two for Brazil.
His professional debut came on 21 February 2015 for Foz do Iguaçu in defeat to JMalucelli in the Paranaense. He then impressed at Grémio, prompting Porto to pay 15 million euros in the summer of 2021.
At Porto he has won seven trophies, two league titles, three Taças de Portugal, one Taça da Liga and one Supertaça. Despite links to Italian clubs this summer, he has remained committed and said he was very happy to start another season.
