South African forward Percy Tau registered an assist as his team, Nam Dinh FC, thumped Eastern Sports Club 9-0 in the AFC Champions League Two.
With the game heading to half-time, the former Al Ahly and Mamelodi Sundowns star set up Brazilian striker Brenner in the 42nd minute - this after rattling the crossbar 20 minutes before.
Overall, Tau, who penned a deal until June 2026, has provided two assists in 12 appearances across all competitions and is yet to find the back of the net.
Meanwhile, with the big win, Tau's side are currently in third place with nine points from six league outings in Group F.
The Thai champions are level on points and goal difference with second-placed Ratchaburi, who scored more than Nam Dinh and conceded less.
Interestingly, both teams claimed each other's scalps in the competition, with Nam Dinh winning 3-1 at home in September, before losing 2-0 away last month.
