A photo stemming from the training ground of La Liga giants Real Madrid has on Wednesday gone viral online.

This comes after a group of Blancos supporters made use of the opportunity to have some fun at the expense of arch rivals Barcelona.

Hansi Flick’s Barca are of course fresh off nothing short of a heartbreaking defeat on the continent last night.

After coming within minutes of booking their spot in the finale of the Champions League, the Blaugrana were ultimately dumped out of the competition by way of an extra-time defeat to Inter Milan.

As much marked an understandable source of relief for those of a Real Madrid persuasion, in bringing an end to Barcelona’s pursuit of a historic treble.

And as alluded to above, one particular group of fans were in turn keen to make clear their delight on Wednesday.

After making the trip to their side’s training ground, the supporters in question hung a banner outside Valdebebas, reading:

‘Grazie Inter’ (Thank you Inter)
