New Real Madrid signing Bernardo Silva this weekend met with a player whom he is set to call a teammate for the seasons to come in Spain’s capital.
The Blancos star in question? Rodrygo.
Midfielder Bernardo is of course fresh off committing his future to Real Madrid, after penning terms at the Bernabéu following the expiration of his contract at Manchester City.
The 31-year-old has since made his way to North America, to play his part in Portugal’s campaign at the 2026 World Cup.
And in the aftermath of his country’s latest outing, as alluded to above, Bernardo crossed paths with new teammate Rodrygo.
Sidelined long-term owing to a serious injury at present, frontman Rodrygo was in attendance at the group stage clash between Portugal and Colombia on Sunday morning.
And post-match, the 25-year-old stopped for a conversation and a photo with Bernardo, ahead of linking up at club level later this summer.
