Juventus: Di Gregorio 7; Kalulu 6, Rugani 6 (46′ Gatti 6.5), Koopmeiners 6; Cambiaso 5.5, Locatelli 6 (86′ Adzic N/A), Thuram 6, McKennie 6; Conceiçao 5.5 (64′ Zhegrova 6); Yildiz 6.5 (84′ Openda N/A), Vlahovic 5 (64′ David 5). Coach: Spalletti 5.5

Best Juventus player: Di Gregorio 7 – At the end of the day, he was the only Juventus player who made a decisive move. Ché Adams could have done more from a very good position, but Di Gregorio’s positioning was excellent, and so was his dive towards the left to deny the Scotland international.

Lowest Juventus ratings: Vlahovic and David 5 – Neither the Serbian’s physicality nor the Canadian’s movements into the spaces caused too much trouble for Torino’s defence.

Juventus coach: Spalletti 5.5 – Juventus dominated possession, but it wasn’t enough to get all three points. The ball just moved too slowly. Like Tudor, Spalletti kept rotating his strikers without finding a valuable solution. There’s still a lot of work to do.

Torino: Paleari 7.5; Ismajli 7 (88′ Tameze N/A), Maripan 7, Coco 6.5; Pedersen 5.5, Ilic 6 (46′ Asllani 6), Casadei 6.5, Vlasic 6 (79′ Anjorin N/A), Lazaro 6; Ngonge 6 (46′ Adams 5.5), Simeone 6 (79′ Zapata N/A). Coach: Colucci 6.5 (Baroni suspended).

Best Torino player: Paleari 7.5 – More than a mere backup keeper. The Italian produced some crucial saves, including five from inside the box (via Sofascore). He was also the official Lega Serie A MVP. Ismajli and Maripan also deserve a mention for their solidity at the back.

Lowest Torino rating: Adams 5.5 – Introduced during the break, he had the best chance in the game for Torino, but he wasted it from a very good position. Di Gregorio was quick to go down, but Adams should have done more from there.

Torino coach: Colucci 6.5 (Baroni suspended) – The game plan was clear: defend with a low block and counter-attack. Torino players put in great physicality and could even have won the game had Adams been more precise. They’ve gone more than ten years without beating Juventus, but their fans can go home happy today.
