Former Chelsea goalkeeper Rob Green has come out and slammed Arsenal’s style of play, saying they get good fortune.
Arsenal have come under a lot of scrutiny this season for how they play and how they win games, with many believing that if they win the Premier League, it will be the worst performing side to ever do it.

They rely a lot of set pieces to get their goals, and often win by the odd one of two goals, never really dominating an opponent or playing free flowing attacking football. But maybe this is just the formula you need to win the Premier League in the modern game as every other club is very tough to beat now? That’s just a question, not a statement.
I personally find Arsenal insanely boring to watch, but then again, I don’t find football as entertaining or as exciting to watch these days anyway, especially compared to the glory days of the 90s and early 00s.
But anyway, I digressed a bit there, back to Green’s comments…

After watching them scrape another win against Brighton last night, Green said:
“Arsenal can keep playing badly and winning all they like. It’s the others that are faltering. Manchester City are faltering.
“They’ve had a stroke of good fortune. There’s not one player that can turn around and say they had a good game, except maybe Hincapie.”
The xG stats from the Aston Villa game last night show just how dominant Chelsea were – they battered their opposition away from home with a record.
Chelsea killed the game off with two lovely counter attack goals as Villa totally failed to deal with Garnacho on the counter.
