Police in Seville moved to prevent a confrontation between ultras from Atlético de Madrid and Real Sociedad after rival groups appeared in the city after nightfall.
According to EFE, there was no fight, and a nearby bar closed its doors with customers inside until police dispersed the group.
Officers intercepted Real Sociedad radicals at the Plaza de San Antonio. They were said to be heading towards the Alameda de Hércules, where a fight had reportedly been arranged with Atlético radicals.
Up to five riot units intervened to hold the group, and around 100 people were identified, then dispersed. Atlético ultras were also seen in the Alameda area.
Footage spread on social media, with accounts that track the ultra scene sharing images of RSF Firm, Real Sociedad's ultras. Later, clips showed alleged members of the Frente Atlético.
