Leeds United will host in-form Brighton in their final home match on Sunday, 17 May. The fixture falls on the penultimate weekend of the Premier League campaign.

According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, the game has been moved to Sunday to avoid the FA Cup final at Wembley on Saturday, 16 May, so all league fixtures have been shifted. It will take place in the traditional three pm slot, only 24 hours later than usual.

Because it falls on a Sunday, the usual Saturday blackout does not apply, and the match will be shown live on Sky Sports. It is one of four games starting at the same time, none involving a relegation rival.

Leeds’ 1-0 FA Cup semi-final loss to Chelsea on Sunday leaves no other commitments that weekend. Daniel Farke’s side hope to have survival secured by then, aiming for a more relaxed farewell at Elland Road.

The round has been spread across several days, partly due to the final commitments of Manchester City and Chelsea. Nottingham Forest travel to Manchester United on Friday evening or Sunday lunchtime, dependent on their Europa League progress, while West Ham visit Newcastle on Sunday at five thirty pm.
