What lessons need to be learned from last season?

Taking chances when presented is a huge one. No lack of creativity but a shortness of clinicality.

Keeping the intensity up for 90 minutes is tough without depth off the bench so managing injuries will be important.

What’s your view on the manager?

He’s brilliant. He brings the best out of the players. However, Plan B can sometimes be a little lacking but that’s been due to injuries more than anything else. He’s a hook for attracting talent for sure.

What’s your verdict on your summer transfer window so far?

Lacking in defence but the Illia Zabarnyi and PSG situation seems to have impacted our options.

Pushing further up the league can also mean attracting who we want is getting harder. We will miss Dean Huijsen hugely and all will realise just how mustard he was.

Djordje Petrovic is a solid signing as is Adrien Truffert. More to come…..

One player to watch from your club this season

James Hill will play more and many will be surprised at how this young Englishman is progressing.

The most underrated player at your club is…

By others in the game it has to be Ryan Christie. By our own fans, probably no one. We are highly appreciative of all our players on the whole.

The game you’re most looking forward to this season is…

Looking forward to hopefully reaching Scott Parker a lesson that out players are certainly good enough 😜

What opposition player do you secretly admire

I love a midfielder who is combative and progressive so I’ll say Rodri.

This season your team will finish…

10th… just.
