What lessons need to be learned from last season?

I think there’s a few lessons to be learnt from last season I think that we need to take chances more as you don’t get as many in the Premier League and one half chance can be the difference between winning and losing

What’s your view on the manager?

Scott Parker has really had to dig deep and prove himself, hence why I completely trust him. We had a fantastic start and then with a week to go we had a whole new squad so I think he has had an unbelievable year considering what he had to deal with.

What’s your verdict on your summer transfer window so far?

It’s been an odd transfer window so far. Losing CJ Egan-Riley and James Trafford is worrying defensively but then to lose your captain (Josh Brownhill) is even worse but there’s a long way to go in the transfer window and I wouldn’t be surprised if we have a very big next week or so.

One player to watch from your club this season

I think the one player to watch is probably Marcus Edwards, just due to the difference in way teams play in the Premier League. He’s going to have so much more space to play his game.

The most underrated player at your club is…

The most underrated player in our team is probably Jaidon Anthony. He works hard every game and chips in with goals and assists. He is not setting the world alight but he keeps us ticking down that left-hand side.

The game you’re most looking forward to this season is…

The game I am most looking forward too is probably Leeds at home, just due to it being the closest thing we’ve got to a derby this season

What opposition player do you secretly admire

I do secretly admire Kevin Schade at Brentford. I feel with Bryan Mbeumo leaving this season will be a season where he can show everyone his true potential.

This season your team will finish…

My heart says we’ll finish 17th but my head says we’ll finish 18th.
