Premier League Winner

Arsenal are 8/13 to win the Premier League after the Gunners held on to beat Brighton 2-1 on Saturday.  It was the Gunners' third consecutive victory by a single goal margin and manager Mikel Arteta must be concerned that living dangerously could soon catch up with his team. That said, he would be delighted to win by any scoreline when they host Aston Villa, who beat Arsenal three weeks ago in the reverse fixture, in an eagerly anticipated match on Tuesday night.

Third-placed Villa are into 18/1 (they were 28/1 after matchday 17) to win the league, following a come from behind win at Chelsea that may have convinced some bettors that Unai Emery's men have the mettle to stay in the race for the long haul.

Man City's form looks ominous for their rivals. Pep Guardiola's men are 13/10 in the Premier League winner market after making it six wins on the spin.

Premier League Top 4  and Top 6 Finish

Liverpool are 3/10 to finish in the top four after making it three consecutive wins with a 2-1 victory over Wolves at Anfield. Floria Wirtz scored his first Premier League goal since making his big money move from Bayer Leverkusen in the summer.

Fifth-placed Chelsea are 13/8 but will need to find greater consistency if they are to secure a Champions League spot.

The same is true of Manchester United 4/1 who were buoyed by their 1-0 win over Newcastle on Boxing Day. The Magpies, meanwhile, are out to 4/1 to finish in the top six after their latest defeat.

Spurs got a welcome win at Crystal Palace to ease the pressure on Thomas Frank and leave the Lilywhites 5/1 for the top six.

Is it time to talk about Frank's old club Brentford 13/2 in the top six race? The Bees' 4-1 win over Bournemouth was the latest indicator that they are much better under Keith Andrews than so some expected at the start of the season.

Premier League Relegation

Betting remains suspended on Wolves, who are still winless after 18 matches, in the relegation market and Burnley are 1/500 for the drop after their draw with Everton.

So the interesting question here is - are West Ham going to be playing Chamionship football next season? The market says so with the Hammers 1/4 to go down after their defeat at home to Fulham.

Leeds' point at Sunderland was the latest piece of good work from Daniel Farke's men as they bid to stay up. The Yorkshire club are 6/1 to be relegated.

Nottm Forest are also 6/1 but showed enough fight in their 2-1 defeat to Man City to suggest that the Tricky Trees can resume their recent upturn under Sean Dyche.

For an interesting outsider in the relegation betting, Bournemouth stand out at 20/1 after their diaobolical form continued at the G-Tech Stadium.

They were competing near the top of the table earlier this campaign but the Cherries' season has soured rapidly and they are without a win in nine.
