Despite ongoing uncertainty, several African national teams are sharpening their skills in preparation for the Women's Africa Cup of Nations – Morocco 2026. Three international friendlies are set for today, March 3, featuring Burkina Faso, Morocco, Nigeria, Cameroon, and Ghana.
The marquee clash of the day kicks off at 15:00 GMT as Cameroon faces Nigeria at the Ngoua-Ekili Army Stadium in Yaoundé. After a 1-0 win in the first leg, the Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon are eager to assert their growing momentum against the Nigerian Super Falcons, who are out for revenge.
At 16:00, Ghana takes on Russia at the Al Hamriya Sports Club Stadium in Dubai. The Black Queens are gearing up for the Pink Ladies Cup and made a statement in their opener with a dominant 4-0 victory over Hong Kong.
The final fixture of the day will see Morocco clash with Burkina Faso at 22:00 at the Moulay Hassan Stadium in Rabat. In the first leg, Morocco’s Lionesses cruised to a commanding 5-0 win over the Burkina Faso Stallions.
