Juventus Men's First Team coach Igor Tudor and goalscorer Chico Conceicao spoke to the press after the 1-1 Serie A draw with Verona on Matchday 4 of the 2025/26 season.

They lacked energy and weren't as fresh as they should have been, but I can't fault the lads, both those who started and those who came on as substitutes. Hellas Verona played well, prepared thoroughly during the week with this match in mind and covered ground well throughout the game. Conceicao? Francisco had a great game today. Cambiaso and Yildiz? They play well together, they have a lot of quality and they know when to stay close and when to give each other more space. In this sense, they are free to move as they prefer, depending on the moment in the game. Now we roll up our sleeves and think about the next game against Atalanta.”

"We are disappointed not to have won this match. Clearly, there was a bit of general fatigue after the two very intense matches we played against Inter and Borussia Dortmund, but that must not be an excuse. We are a great team and it is normal to play many matches during a season because we’re in many competitions. We knew today wouldn't be an easy game. Hellas Verona are a very aggressive side and their aggression led us to make a few too many mistakes. It's never easy to win here in Verona. We now have a week to prepare for our next match against Atalanta, so it will be important to rest and recover our energy before focusing on that game."
