The future of Gianluca Prestianni at Benfica could be decided within hours, with his representatives in Lisbon and Trabzonspor moving forward with a concrete proposal.
Record reports that the club from Türkiye have tabled a 20 million euros offer, matching Benfica’s asking price for the 20-year-old winger.
The agents’ trip was arranged to assess the options on the table, including interest from Spain and Italy, and to discuss a potential contract renewal.
Although his deal runs to 2029, Prestianni’s camp wanted improved terms, as his salary has remained unchanged since his arrival in January 2024 at 17, with his progress seen as justification for an update.
The Trabzonspor proposal could reshape the talks and open a path to a transfer. Benfica paid nine million euros to sign him from Vélez Sarsfield, who retain 15% of a future sale.
Trabzonspor have also put forward far better personal terms, and the player could almost triple his wages if he moves to Türkiye.
Should a deal be agreed, he would follow Sidny Cabral, who recently left Benfica for Trabzonspor in a move worth seven million euros plus 20% of a future capital gain to the Luz club.
