Gianluca Prestianni enjoyed a special night with Benfica in Barcelos, capped by handing his shirt to a young fan after the match.

According to Glorioso 1904, the 20-year-old started against Gil Vicente, received strong backing throughout, and his post-match gesture quickly went viral.

From the team bus arrival at Estádio Cidade de Barcelos, Benfica supporters applauded him, including one fan holding up an Argentina shirt in solidarity.

During the game, every touch from the right winger drew encouragement, and he was applauded again when substituted in the second half.

After João Gonçalves blew for full time, Prestianni diverted towards the stand to give his shirt to a visibly moved young supporter.

A social media video also shows captain Nicolás Otamendi repeating the act by handing over his shirt, rounding off an emotional evening. The outpouring followed controversy during the first leg of the Champions League play-off tie against Real Madrid. The next fixture is on Sunday 8 against Porto.
