Barcelona return to Champions League action as they travel to Belgium to face Club Brugge at the Jan Breydel Stadion.
The visitors will be aiming to move further up the table in their league phase campaign and currently sit in ninth place.
The Catalan giants already lost 2-1 against title-holders Paris Saint-German last month and have two wins over Newcastle United and Olympiacos in the competition.
They travel to the Jan Breydel Stadion on the back of a 3-1 win against Elche in La Liga which brought them five points behind leaders and rivals Real Madrid.
Barcelona are no strangers to the knockout stages having missed out on the final after losing against Inter Milan 7-6 on aggregate in the semi-final last season.
Hansi Flick’s men are amongst the favorites to lift the famous trophy after last season’s fantastic run to the reach the semis.
His side face Chelsea, Eintracht Frankfurt, Slavia Prague and Copenhagen before the league phase ends. They also face Celta Vigo before this month’s international break.
Barcelona will be without five players for the clash: Raphina, Joan García, Marc-André ter Stegen, Gavi and Pedri are unavailable due to injuries, with Andreas Christensen also a major doubt.
Meanwhile, Club Brugge will be aiming for four consecutive wins in all competitions when they welcome Barcelona to Belgium.
The home side come into the match on the back of a 2-1 win over Dender domestically.
They also claimed a 6-1 win over Eedracht Aalst Lede in the cup and a 1-0 win over Antwerp in the Pro League and are second in the table, three points behind leaders Union Saint-Gilloise.
Nicky Hayen’s side have two losses and one win in the league phase of the champions League and sit 22nd in the table.
They beat Monaco 4-1 in their opening home match of the tournament before losing 4-0 to Bayern Munich and 2-1 to Atalanta.
Club Brugge have met Barcelona twice in the past – both in 2002 – and lost on both occasions.
The match will be broadcast live on TNT SPORTS 4 and beIN Sports 1 with a kick-off time of 20:00 GMT.
