Ipswich Town welcome Sheffield United to Portman Road this Friday for matchweek five of the Championship, with the game live on Sky Sports Football at 8:00pm.
Both sides will be looking to recover from slow starts to the season following the first international break. Ipswich, relegated from the Premier League last term, currently sit 20th after failing to pick up a win in their opening four fixtures. Sheffield United, meanwhile, are still hunting their first points under new manager Rubén Sellés.
The last meeting between the two teams ended with Sheffield United winning 2-0.
Adam Wilkin (Blue Monday): Two sides that are both massively under-performing their xG meet under the lights at Portman Road on a Friday night. There's always a buzz around the Town for a night game and this one will be no different. Add in the fact that there's a chance to see a host of new signings for both sides who had an unsettled transfer window and you should see a great atmosphere.
Sindre Walle-Egeli impressed over the international break and the Championship record signing should get his first minutes here with Chuba Akpom taking the '10' slot with Conor Chaplin loaned out and Sammie Szmodics injured on international duty.
Having faced two defensive low block sides in the past two games I think Selles sides attacking intent should play into Town's hands for this one and I'm expecting a nice open game. With a bit of luck that first Portman Road league win of the calendar year should fall the way of the Super Blues.
Prediction: 2-1
Theo (Allthingsblades): Approaching the 5th game of the season, United still remain pointless under Ruben Selles and pressure is starting to mount on the Spaniard.
They face a Friday night trip to Portman road against Ipswich who have also struggled to pick up points in the opening set of games. The Blades need a result to kick start their season and i think it will be a much improved performance from them. 1-1.
