Prince William celebrates as Ollie Watkins levels tie for Aston Villa

Prince William was at Villa Park as Ollie Watkins struck in the first half to level Aston Villa’s Europa League semi-final tie against Nottingham Forest.

Watkins tapped in during the first half after Villa began the night a goal behind on aggregate. According to ExpressAndStar.com, the prince attended the European clash at Villa Park.

A long-standing Villa supporter, he has been present for a number of the club’s big European nights and did not miss this one.

He was spotted celebrating the opening goal and, ahead of kick-off, was seen alongside the likes of England boss Thomas Tuchel and former Villa man Ahmed El Mohammedy.

The strike prompted a raucous response inside the ground as home fans savoured the moment.
