Promoted to Ligue one, Troyes returned on Monday with physical and medical tests, and are yet to make a signing, according to L'Équipe. Centre-back Junior Diaz has returned from his loan at Brest.
The reduced group will continue testing on Tuesday, then resume on-pitch work on Wednesday morning under head coach Stéphane Dumont and his staff.
Departures include Moroccan striker Tawfik Bentayeb, 24, Ligue two’s top scorer with 18 goals, who has gone back to loan club Union Touarga and could be transferred to Feyenoord in the Netherlands. Goalkeeper Nicolas Lemaître, 29, has been sold to Rennes.
Midfielder Xavier Chavalerin, 35, and attacker Monaïm El-Idrissy, 27, have left after their contracts expired. Teen striker Mathys Detourbet, 19, has joined Manchester City, the flagship of City Group, ESTAC’s owner, and could be loaned to Monaco.
Out-of-contract forward Renaud Ripart, 33, may yet be offered a new deal. The club, chaired by Edwin Pindi, are still seeking a sporting director after Antoine Sibierski moved to Anderlecht. Ivorian defender Junior Diaz, 22, developed at Nantes and made 20 Ligue one appearances for Brest in 2025-2026.
